Our cottage was completely renovated in 2021 and is in a great location for walkers, cyclists, and explorers. Separate to our main home, and having wonderful views, guests can visit nearby Fountains abbey, Brimham rocks, Grassington and lots of other lovely places of interest, as well as nearby walks. We have used high quality fittings throughout from Loaf seating, beautiful light fittings, Sophie Conran crockery, SMEG kettle and toaster, as well as featuring art by a local artist David Stead.

NO SMOKERS. The HOT TUB is exclusively yours! This barn is unsuitable for children. Please ensure that all guests are happy with the house rules before booking. Please also note that the property has slipper baths - there are no showers or shower heads (see pictures) Private area with seating and a hot tub. We are in the countryside but only 2 miles from local amenities. Pocklington is 2 miles, The beautiful city of York is 12 miles, the coast is only an hours drive.

There are original features, a wood burning stove, Aga and is within walking distance of Roundhay Park, cafes, bars and restaurants. There will be tea and coffee making facilities, milk in the fridge and fresh linen and towels for you! We hope you find it comfortable, stylish and well equipped! We consider longer lets too!

Naburn Grange Cottage is a farm worker’s cottage attached to an 18th century riverside farmhouse in between the villages of Naburn and Stillingfleet. With easy access to York by car, bus, cycle track or (in the summer months) riverbus, you can explore the city’s history or the beauty of the surrounding countryside. This one-bedroomed cottage is well-equipped and private, with the owners next door for information or advice on your visit.

Pear Tree Barn, York 5m, Village Location

Pear Tree Barn has been lovingly restored and converted as holiday accommodation during 2016. The old timbers have been retained but are not obtrusive, where the height of the interior allows the original A frame roof timbers add that necessary rustic charm to what is now a modern property. Due to the coronavirus, we are taking additional steps to clean and sanitise frequently touched surfaces between reservations.
