It is a 1930's Sears Craftsman home located near downtown Greenup, about 1 mile from Rt 70. Greenup, known as the Village of the Porches between Interstate 70, IL RT 40 and IL RT 130, with over 1500 residents. Sam Parr State Park has a beautiful picnic area with an easy walk through the woods around the lake. And many other fun stops to enjoy!.

The Hunters Hideout

Come relax at our little cabin. Our place offers 2 full size and two twin beds. Perfect for guest wanting to come and stay and hunt or fish the public grounds. It’s a one room cabin with a full new shower house just a few steps away outside. There is no running water within the cabin but the shower house is right outside your door. Each cabin has their own private bathroom in the shower house. There are 2 other cabins located on the property. Perfect for those hunting or fishing trips.

We are 15 minutes to east ramp and 19 minutes to west ramp on Newton lake. Sam Parr state park is only 4 miles away!
