A charming six bedroom house ideal for hosting families & golfing parties. This listing is first and foremost a family home, with all the charm and quirks that go with this type of property. The Puffin Burrow is a lovely self-contained apartment on the ground floor of this magnificent Georgian House. It has 2 double bedrooms, one of which is a twin and the other set up as king size but can be made into another twin on request. The open plan modern kitchen and sitting room are complete with wood-burning stove and have views of the sea including the Bass Rock and Craigleith Island.

My place is close to Yellowcraig Beach (one of the best beaches in Scotland), between Gullane and North Berwick. You’ll love my place because of the quiet, rural location, the comfy beds, the views and the high ceilings. My place is good for couples, business travellers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). Pets are subject to an additional £30 cleaning fee per pet per stay, payable on arrival. Pet fees are not included in the price you will have already paid.

My apartment is at the west end of the High Street of North Berwick. It is a spacious first and second floor property with the ground floor being The Herringbone, a restaurant/bar . All the shops,bars and restaurants are seconds away. The train station and the North Berwick West Links Golf Club are both a 5 minute walk away and you can be on the beach in less than a minute!. Whether you want to be active or just relax, Howden Cottage is a great base to enjoy all the delights of East Lothian. If you want a trip to Edinburgh it's about a 45 minute drive or you can drive to the local station - about 8 minutes away and take the train which is 25 minutes. Parking at the station is free.
