Phoenix East Wing - Experience off-grid luxury

This home’s jungle greenhouse creates its own microclimate in the high mountain desert and is completely off-the-grid, exquisitely detailed and outfitted with modern amenities. Located in the world-famous Greater World Earthship Community, this modern off-grid home is one of a kind! Built by hand over 8 years by me, your host, Kirsten. This sustainable house is bright, light, and airy with clean lines and unique details. Like all Earthships this house is built from natural and repurposed materials such as used automobile tires, cardboard, old cans and bottles. All electricity for the house is from solar. All water is from the sky. More comfort, less hippie.

This Earthship is great for experiencing a home that is quiet, serene, romantic, private, (one acre lot) surrounded by acres of sagebrush and chamisa. and is only 15 minutes from town. The inside is dark adobe with gold straw, with flagstone floors, and rustic Sycamore Oak beams. 3 kivas fireplaces too! It's been used as a recording studio too, If you like taking awesome photographs, this is THE place. Cozy, comforting! Pets are welcome and must be leashed! Cat box provided by request!

a magical retreat casita on the mesa near santa fe , away from the city and yet only 20m/35min drive to the SF plaza . to get to us you have to drive about 4 miles dirt & gravel road , there can be muddy + slippery spots & stretches when it rains or snows ; for winter &monsoon an AWD is recommended. we are off-the-grid , limited solar electricity & rain water. 2 guests only , 1 well behaved dog is okay . 31days minimum stays. good WiFi is in the casita

The Mushroom Yurt

Off-grid rustic Mushroom yurt. This little yurt can sleep up to four people. It has a bunk bed cot and a queen size tri-fold mattress. There is a picnic table, a propane bbq grill, a fire pit, and an outhouse. Taos is approximately 30 miles, Red River 20 miles and Questa is 9 miles away. Cell service is good. The yurt has a solar power system to charge your devices. The yurt is heated. Sunshine rd is plowed in the winter, the driveway is not plowed.
