Rent canoes or kayaks to float down the scenic Rock River. Walking distance from our home is Park West with a trail, tennis courts, play area, splash pad and a sledding hill. Downtown Oregon's restaurants, bars and stores are a short drive or a pleasant walk. For business travelers, the Byron plant, Woods, Etnyre and KSB Hospital are short drives.

Secluded yet only 10 mins from the fun town of Oregon. 100 acres of private property, bordering Lowden-Miller State Forest. Includes use of canoes/kayaks, large riverfront yard, grills, hammocks, deck, porch and firewood. $33/night per person or pet after first 2 people. Whispering Pine is home to the original home that was built here in the 1940’s. The remodeled inside has two bedrooms. Our cabins have full kitchens, stocked with china, silverware, pots & pans. The backyard sits high on a bluff overlooking Pine Creek. There is private lawn furniture, a fire ring & grill outside. If you find yourself inside you can cuddle near the gas fireplace or watch tv. The cabin is also equipped with wifi. You are sure to leave Pine Creek feeling relaxed & refreshed.
