The house borders the Chickasaw National Recreation Area (CNRA), which allows bow hunting (behind my house) & gun (1 mile north). Boat docks & swimming areas are nearby at Arbuckle Lake. You will be a short drive from local attractions:CNRA, Turner Falls, Arbuckle Wilderness, Chickasaw Cultural Center, and Artesian Casino, & Spa.

Sage Cottage is located in the beautiful Pottawatomie County in our own Oaklore Forest. The cottage sleeps two on our queen size bed, Has a mini-kitchen and 3-piece bathroom with stand-up shower. The kitchen is equipped with a small bar sink, double hot plate, toaster, microwave, coffee pot, kuerig, toaster oven, small fridge and cooking essentials. Welcome to our lakeside cottage! We are located on Lake Eufaula only 10 mins north of McAlester, OK. There's a boat ramp located less than 1 mile away. Enjoy the lake view from the screened in porch, porch swing in the lower back yard or a hammock next to the water. Includes water access. Water shoes are recommended, it's pretty rocky. Room 1 features a queen bed. Room 2 has the option of 2-xl twin beds that can be converted to a king if preferred. Also, a queen sofa bed for extra guests.
