The Harding's

Our cosy, open-plan studio is thoughtfully set up for a comfortable and relaxing stay, it features an ensuite where you can freshen up, a queen bed, a 2.5-seater sofa for unwinding, and a three-seater dining table perfect for meals or planning your day. Step outside to your private outdoor bistro table and chairs, ideal for enjoying fresh air, a morning coffee, or an evening drink. A light-filled, well-designed space offering simple comfort and everything you need for an enjoyable stay.

Opononi Sunsets and Sea views

Relax and enjoy the sea views. Our bach is the perfect holiday escape for two couples. The couch has a fold out bed and there is a single fold up rollaway available for extra guests/children. The front deck features a large dining table and gas BBQ plus fabulous views of Hokianga harbour, sand dunes and often stunning sunsets. Other features include: a dishwasher, washing machine, SKY TV, DVDs, games, and books. It's a short walk to the beach, 4Square, cafe, takeaways & pub.

Treehouse in the Forest Canopy | Reclaimed Kauri

Wild Forest Treehouse Like a magic carpet ride in the canopy of the forest. A 120 year old Kauri villa was about to be torn down. We rescued the French doors, sarking, weatherboards, windows, flooring and shower fittings, then used them to build Wild Forest Treehouse. A space nestled into the forest slope, so that with all sets of French doors open, you're not looking down at the canopy. You're living inside it. Everything has had a life before this place. You can feel it.

The Blue Dolphin, Opononi, Hokianga

"The Blue Dolphin" 25 Harbour View Drive, is a small charming 120 year old cottage in a unique location on the water's edge in Opononi, facing north with uninterrupted views of the harbour and sand dunes. The information centre is next door as is the 4 square, fish n chip shop and the Opononi Pub! The cottage, which we treasure, has been refurbished - it is our private oasis and is to be respected and enjoyed - it is the genuine much loved "kiwi bach".

Located in the heart of Kohukohu village across the road from beautiful Hokianga Harbour, the historic Old Fell Boat Shed provides accommodation for up to six guests. It's the ideal timeout spot to write, paint, kayak (two on-site), fish or just relax. Cafe's, art gallery, pub and general store are a level two-minute walk. One big bedroom and two fold-out couches in the large lounge. Private courtyard and BBQ. Pet friendly and free on-street parking.
