A walk on Karekare beach is one of the most memorable walks in the country. Some of the local bush and coastal walks are also highly rated. Surrounded by Tuis and Wood pigeons the hut is close to Piha and Karekare…or simply stay and enjoy nature. Beaches are 10 minutes away by car. Grocery shopping and gassing up recommended beforehand.
