The Dorothy house is in a great location. It is only 1.6 miles from Williamsburg Waterpark and The Mint, and about 2 miles from the University of the Cumberlands, Walmart, and downtown Williamsburg. It offers a country setting, but it is within driving distance of area attractions, such as Cumberland Falls State Park (20 miles) and Big South Fork National Forest. It offers the best of both worlds. It is great place just to relax; sit on the porch or deck and watch for wildlife or read a book.

The property is 24 acres, sitting on the edge of Big South Fork National Park. The front yard is big enough for games. When you are through for the day and after enjoying the enclosed hot tub/pool inside, go outside and enjoy the fire pit area. Horses welcome, small pasture area, no barn. This 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom cabin located on acres of forest is the perfect family getaway! There is a king size bed in 1 bedroom. The 2nd bedroom has bunk beds—full on bottom and twin on top. There is also an air mattress. The spacious porch is equipped with a gas grill and furniture which allows plenty of room for relaxing, visiting, and grilling. We are located just 5 miles from Cumberland Falls, home of the famous moonbow. Numerous hiking trails and water sports are nearby.

Cozy Cabin

Cozy two bedroom cabin with unobstructed views of the mountains. On the back deck there is a hot tub and a gas grill. Near Big South Fork and Historic Rugby. 3 mile hike from the cabin to the river round-trip. Or drive to the trailhead and hike half a mile to the river. Come here to unwind and de-stress. Totally peaceful :-) My favorite time of year is winter at the cabin. Nothing like sitting in the hot tub and looking out over the frosty trees and mountains!

Surrounded by trees and overlooking a beautiful pasture, visitors can relax and enjoy the Big South Fork and Daniel Boone National Forest hiking and horseback riding trails, kayaking, and Cumberland Falls scenic attractions. Also enjoy and view the Big South Fork scenic railway train. Security cameras are turned off when guest are occupying cabin.
