The Mountaineer Cabin at Starr Mountain Retreat

This one of a kind cabin experience, is nestled in the heart of the Cherokee National Forest. This cabin is very private and sleeps up to 6 people. Sitting on the porch, you have tree house views of the surrounding woods. It is close to the Hiwassee river which has rafting and tubing as well as fishing. Gypsy Haven is nestled at the foot of the Bean mountain, right between the Hiwassee and Ocoee Rivers. We are only 15 mins from The Ocoee & Hiwassee Rivers, 19 miles to Cleveland, & about a 45 minute drive to Chattanooga. Enjoy white water rafting, fly fishing, mountain climbing, zip lining, horse back riding and more all within a short drive. You also have access to feed our sweet mules & Sir Spits a lot the alpaca! Note this is a guest house/ loft above our garage so you do walk up stairs.

This treehouse features beautiful year-round mountain views, and can be found elevated off the ground by a single tree. Guests will be entranced by the unique colors and textures featured throughout. This two story treehouse can comfortably sleep four guests with a queen bed in the loft and a futon that unfolds into a full bed on the main level. On the connected entrance platform, there is half bathroom, with access to showers and an additional bathroom at our bathhouse facility.

Discover the perfect hideaway on the shores of the famous Ocoee River, The Pines at Welcome Valley Village, a Timberroot Rustic Retreat. Our most private riverside cabin, The Pines has a large porch overlooking the river, complete with a 6-foot porch swing and dining table for six. The Pines can comfortably sleep a total of seven guests and features a private outdoor fire pit with comfortable seating by the riverside.
