Recharge and connect with nature in our cosy cabin amongst silver birch trees. Feed the red squirrels and the woodpeckers and spot the pine martens, deer and badgers. BBQ by the Burn and just unwind. Alternatively surf at Sandend, follow the whisky trail, play golf on the stunning courses and fish locally. Immerse yourself in the many historical castles and ruins. Light the log burner, cook supper in the quirky kitchen and sleep peacefully in pure linen sheets. Hot water bottles provided!

McKenzie Cottage

Situated in the quiet fishing village of Portknockie, McKenzie Cottage is a renovated, detached stone built fisherman’s cottage, which retains its original character. The ground floor has a comfortable lounge, large kitchen/dining area, shower room with modern walk-in shower, and useful utility room. Upstairs there are two bedrooms - one double and one with twin beds. Please note - there is a narrow staircase to the first floor (see photos). STL Licence - MO-00055-F EPC Rating - E (May 2022)

Unique turret annex in Upper Donside

Our bright yellow Broom now out! Situated in the Cairngorms National Park in Strathdon, a short walk away from the hamlet of Bellabeg. The Turret offers a tranquil setting in 2.5 acres of private woodland, it has its own entrance and is a self-contained totally sound insulated annex to the main house (where the owners live). The setting has spectacular south facing views of the Deeside hills and is surrounded by farmland and wildlife. Completely off the beaten track with glorious dark skies.

Seaspray is a traditional stone built fisherman’s cottage in the conservation village of Portknockie on the north east coast of Scotland. It’s light and bright yet a cosy retreat from those refreshing salty coastal winds. Although quaint to look at from the outside, inside it is tardis-like with 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms. Living room has LED mood lighting. Also there's a jukebox. The bedrooms can be 2 king sized beds or 1 king and 2 singles. Communal veranda on the first floor (shared with my other Airbnb). Wifi. Bow Fiddle View is a relaxed and comfortable three bedroom semi detached home just moments from the cliffs and with unique views of the famous Bow Fiddle Rock. The house can sleep six people in three double bedrooms, with the second bedroom available as a King or a twin. The family bathroom with rainmaker shower and heated towel rail is on the ground floor. The kitchen is well equipped with fridge freezer, oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, El Gusto coffee machine and washing machine.
