Folks come here to get away from the noise and bustle, artists to work in the beautiful setting. Walk to the top of the hill and see incredible stars on a clear night. Fall asleep listening to the great horned owl calling to her mate. Watch dawn light up the small valley below, perhaps catch a glimpse of the red fox as he passes. Bring ice for cooler.

Cummins Falls 11 miles. Cookeville Boat Dock Marina on Center Hill Lake 9.5 miles (kayak/canoe to Fancher Falls from the marina). Our family of 4, along with numerous cats and 3 dogs, lives here on 3 acres, so there’s plenty of grass for your pet(s). Quiet, relaxing atmosphere to rest.

Quaint older home where you can be downtown in 10 minutes for shopping and eating. The home is located just 4.5 miles from TTU on Hilham Rd. It’s on a 2 lane state highway. For the kids a pack n play and gates provided!(also used for dogs) Algood City Park is 4.5 miles away & Dogwood Park is within 6 miles. Want to get outdoors? Cummins Falls State park is 7 miles down the road! Lets not forget you can work out at Crossfit Mayhem. Its just a 10 minute drive.

The Cottage at Newton’s Bend Farm is a cozy two bedroom home on a 50 acre farm. Located only 2.5 miles from Cummins Falls State Park and 5 miles from Tennessee Tech, which makes the location convenient while very private. Lots of trees and natural scenery. Deer, turkey and other wildlife frequently sited from back deck.
