This rustic, solar cabin has it's own private hiking trail(100m, steep hill) and private parking area. The trail winds it's way up to your private view overlooking Golden Lake. You will feel tucked away in this cozy spot surrounded by mixed oak forest, sitting atop Canadian Shield rock formations. Earth & Aircrete Dome Home

Creative, unique and cozy. This dome is made from aircrete and is finished with clay plaster and an earthen floor. It is a piece of art in every respect and is sure to inspire. It has everything needed to cook food, be warm and sleep deeply as well as nearby hiking and skiing trails leading to rivers and cliffs. It is heated by a wood stove or electric space heater and has a outdoor composting toilet and a shared indoor bathroom. Come enjoy the only dome of it's kind in the whole country!

There is plenty to do nearby: discover the Wakefield village, its restaurants, boutiques, farms, the Gatineau Park, the Nordik Spa, Eco-Odyssee, the nearby golf courses and ski hills, etc. (CITQ Permit #298430.
