Welcome to your one-of-a-kind, historic experience located in the countryside just 1 mile east of Springfield city limits. You will experience our finely furnished family home with modern technology & conveniences, originally the one-room North Round Prairie country school from 1875 to 1945. Deluxe features include nature trails, wildflowers, sitting areas, full garage access, and a working cattle farm provide a one-of-a-kind, quality experience. A 3rd bedroom suite upstairs was added in '22!

Enjoy relaxing at this peaceful and centrally-located place. We have a coffee and tea bar to wake up to in the morning. Bathroom boasts heated toilet seat, dual shower heads with unlimited hot water! When you're ready to explore, we are a short drive away from many destinations! Audrey's Abode

Audrey’s Abode is just the place you have been looking for to relax and reconnect with family, friends, nature and a simpler time. Located on a 7 acre hobby farm just south of Jacksonville, Illinois (30 minutes west of Springfield), Audrey’s Abode is a fully restored historic log cabin with all the modern amenities for a comfortable getaway. Need additional space? Check out our other listing next door - Bunkhouse Seventy-Four. Pets are welcome but we charge a $35 pet cleaning fee.

The Flat

A historic mid-1800’s building on the Petersburg Square! Guests will enjoy the entire apartment-loft which includes private Queen bedroom and private bath. The main living area features a full kitchen, dishwasher, 1/2 bath and washer & dryer. Accommodates up to six guests (airbeds, sofa bed pull out). Smoking of any kind (including cigarettes, cigars, vaping, or marijuana) is not permitted inside the space. Failure to follow this policy may result in additional cleaning fees.

The Humble Hideaway

This private home offers a cozy patio, and all the comforts of home including a fire pit and dining table. The home itself is bright and airy with hardwood floors, and a new central air conditioning. Visit historic Winchester and explore what our quaint community has to offer! This stylish place to stay is perfect for a quiet getaway and can accommodate groups thanks to its ample space. You can bring the family or plan a getaway with friends. The flat is located above a newly opened bicycle and coffee shop that also offers craft beers and wine.
