The home is situated on 4 wooded acres (not lakefront) off a well maintained gravel road. Very private. No neighbors in sight. Wildlife is abundant. Dogs are OK w/approval & fee.

Big Bear’s Den - On Lake Alexander

This spacious home is located on beautiful Lake Alexander just west of Merrill, Wisconsin. Enjoy the tranquil view year-round as you plan the many activities that this location offers. You bring the boat, and we'll supply the dock. Throw in your ski's or wakeboard, and don't forget your fishing poles! Three pound small mouth bass are not uncommon and the monster's of fresh water fish, the musky, are plentiful. Add in walleyes, crappies, northern pike and this location is a fisherman's dream!

Welcome to Shady Point in Rhinelander, WI! We're thrilled to have you as our guests, and we hope you enjoy your stay in this beautiful part of the state. Our modern lake front cabins are inspired by the changing seasons. Our larger cabin ("Autumn") boasts 2 bedrooms, a sleeping loft and 2 full bathrooms, with a full gourmet kitchen, and outdoor gas grill for your use. Added bonuses: washer/dryer, free wifi, fire pit, security cameras. Autumn cabin has a strict no pets policy.

Room for parking trailers, close to snowmobile/ATV trails and snowmobile/boat rentals! We supply 2 adult kayaks, 1 children’s kayak, 2 inflatable paddle boards, and life jackets. It is considered one of the best fishing destinations in Northern Wisconsin. The surface water area is over 1700 acres with 35 miles of shoreline for boating, skiing, swimming, jet skiing, and fishing!
