I would like to recommend to avoid future disappointment and disruption to your holiday, that you thoroughly read the specified booking details and Terms and Conditions for each AirBnB apartment BEFORE you confirm your booking. All you have mentioned is outlined in these details and you must accept this prior to your confirmation. We also remind you of all additional costs via a number of communications before your arrival.
Firstly, it is unacceptable behaviour to call drunk and abusive at 4.00am, especially when you are asking for assistance in the middle of the night. Respect and consideration is common courtesy that should be given, not only expected in return. Of course, there is a call out fee for issues after 00:00am, you will find this, I am sure, with almost any business.
Secondly, we tried and tested the keys in the apartment door after your check out, and they appeared to work perfectly fine, so we are confused as to why you seemed to have problems that we and other guests have never had. It is also noted that after your aggressive phone call at 4:00am (after our employee had agreed to come to your apartment in accordance with the after hours fee) you then called her back 1 minute later to advise you had managed to get in by kicking the door in, and you refused to pay for any possible damages caused.
Thank you for your feedback. It is however disappointing, as this is the first unpleasant experience we have had with a guest.
