This is a pretty place, on a main road so it's easy to find and to get other places from. The host was there when I checked in, and seems like a pleasant fellow. He prepared a folder that he left in the room that had the WiFi password, a list of restaurants in the area with some menus. These seem like the kind of places the locals go. There are a few chain restaurants as well as a Wal-Mart and a Home Depot less than 10 minutes away where you can find about anything you forgot to pack. (guess who inadvertently packed the wrong type of USB cable for charging my phone) The rental space is nicely furnished, but could be laid out better for working. There's a good sized table where I could set up my computer and spread some papers around, but the lighting - overhead spotlights - was only fair. It would have been nice to have a table lamp there in place of the spray of artificial flowers. The king size bed was comfortable, the bathroom fully equipped (there's a jet tub, though I didn't use it) and everything that needed to work worked fine. Internet was adequate. Television was via Apple TV. Could be I just wasn't smart enough to navigate the menus, but I couldn't find regular real-time network shows, and no news. Probably great for catching up on your cable programs, though. The kitchen is well equipped but is quite tiny. There's everything you need to cook a full meal, but you might need to do some of the prep work in the main room One thing that you should be aware of is that access to the bedroom upstairs is via a fairly narrow spiral stairway (it's in one of the photos). I had one small bag so I had no trouble navigating it, but it might be a struggle to get a week-vacation-sized suitcase up to the bedroom. More important, the only bathroom is on the entry level, so if you need to go in the middle of the night (I'm of that age), you have that staircase to deal with. Personally, I wouldn't stay there again simply because of this inconvenience. If this was my rental property, I'd give some thought to making the main floor the primary sleeping area - it's as big as most suite-type hotel rooms - and move the couch, TV set, and other "living room" functions upstairs. So if the stairs and remote bathroom isn't a problem, and it's where you want to be, you'd probably be quite comfortable here.
