Welcome to this page, which describes the flat where I have been living for the past three years. I look forward to welcoming you here and will do my very best to make your stay unforgetable.
A visit around one of the oldest parts of Paris begins right here! My flat is in central Paris, on the 4th floor of a listed 17th century building: the Maison de l’Annonciation. The mix of exposed wood beams and contemporary furniture complement each other well. It is 33m2, has two compact rooms (living room and kitchen / dining room) and, being located in a pedestrian area, it is exceptionally quiet. A real luxury in central Paris!
The fully-furnished flat is ideal for two, but can accommodate up to four people. It has:
- Bedroom: a double bed, 140cm wide, with a high quality mattress.
- Living room: an easy-to-open sofa bed for two children.
I provide bed sheets and bathroom towels.
Other elements include:
- Living room: unlimited free wi-fi, HiFi system which is Ipad/Ipod/Iphone-compatible, home cinema video projector.
- Kitchen: washing machine, combined oven/micro-wave, fridge, high-speed kettle, expresso coffee machine, toaster, hoover.
The building is secured by a digicode.
The area is both magnificent and safe, and counts innumerable restaurants, bars, art galleries and shops. Less than two minutes away there are three small supermarkets that are open until 22h00.
The area could not be better for discovering Paris on foot. It is:
1 minute walk to Beaubourg (Centre Pompidou - Musée d'Art Moderne).
3 minute walk to the Hôtel de Ville/Mairie de Paris (Town Hall).
5 minute walk to the famous rue des Francs-Bourgeois and the Marais.
7 minute walk to Notre-Dame cathedral, the Seine and the islands in the middle of it (Ile Saint-Louis and the Ile de la Cité).
10 minute walk to the Louvre, one of the largest museums in the world.
It is well served by public transport:
2 minute walk to Rambuteau underground station (line 11).
2 minute walk to Hôtel de Ville (lignes 1 and 11).
3 minute walk to Châtelet-les-Halles (underground and RER) which takes you directly
to Orly and Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle airports, as well as the train stations Gare de Lyon and Gare du Nord.
