We are very surprised and sad by your comment. Especially since you left the apartment without telling us what was wrong or asking us some help.
Regarding the cleaning, we employ a pro to clean the entire apartment and I was in the apartment before your arrival. The apartment was clean.
I offered 4 towels for you 2 and more towels (clean of course) were available in the closet. If you'd asked me, I'd have told you.
The pictures were taken by a Airbnb Photograph so they are approved by Airbnb. As they were taken at our arrival in the apartment, there are less furnitures in the pictures than there are today in the apartment: so yes, we added a carpet but also pictures on the wall, and green plants. I admit the sofa is not the same as in the picture. We changed it for a better one, more confortable, which is said in the ad.
I think we may have a misunderstanding about the ad of my apartment: I use Airbnb to welcome travellers in the place I live in and give them tips so they can live an authentic Parisian expérience as much as possible.
It is not a Hotel with 24h reception desk and every day cleaning service, but really the place were we live. So, yes we leave our stuffs there, in private places that you're not supposed to open.
I am also sorry that you were disappointed by my apartment because I've been a "superhost" since 2 years and have more than 76 guests who really enjoyed my place and left very good reviews (including Andrew and his wife who stayed just after you in the apartment and left 5 stars). I welcome guests with Airbnb since 5 years now and you are the 1st guest to be disappointed by my place.
So maybe my place was not suited for you and I suggest that next time you go to the Hotel or a "professional airbnb".
Anyway, I take notes of your remarks, for sure there is room for improvement in the experience we offer to our guest.
I wish you the best and hope that despite the accomodation, you enjoyed your stay in this beautiful city.
