This house is for nature lovers with plenty of private property to explore, with a lake and 3/4 of a mile of coast line and plenty of privacy with a view that is imposing. No mention above of this super amenity, so this obviously was not what you were looking for and experienced its remoteness as a disadvantage. This cottage dates from 1888 and is small but to say that It only has one bedroom is not a fair comment. It also has two lovely mezzanine floors with views out on the bay. AirBnB does not allow us to use the word Mezzanine Floor so we could only choose the word bedroom to indicate how many spaces and beds were available. The photographs however are very clear. I do not understand the comment about the 100 deposit which is very clear on AirBnB and as these guests kindly pointed out to me, was already paid through AirBnB before arrival. The 100 deposit per dog is a precaution that should be no surprise, it just stimulates our guests to keep their dogs under control so that our next guests can enjoy the house as well. Maybe it would be better next time book a house with all mod cons in a village where you will not require wellingtons. Having said this, you were nice guests, thank you for leaving the house nice and clean with no sign of dog trouble.
