This living space is very bright (surrounded by windows) and offers the traveller a location which is 45 minutes to Pearson Airport in Toronto & is within 1/2 hour to Hamilton, Guelph, Cambridge, Kitchener Waterloo and Milton. The living room area has a pull out couch ( converts to a single bed), kitchenette with fridge, countertop stove, microwave, toaster oven, large table with 3 chairs, TV with satellite TV access. The bedroom is compact & features a Queen bed & chest of drawers. The bathroom is 3 piece with a toilet, sink and shower. These areas are private for the traveller/guest. The deck area with BBQ and the courtyard area with the hottub (open and available all year round) are private to you during your stay. The pool is a fenced area, next to the Airbnb, accessible to you and is shared with the owner and the owners family, in the summer months. Beyond the deck is a large grassy backyard with a soccer wall. There are a variety of spots to relax: deck-under the canopy or in full sun, courtyard, patio around the pool. There is parking for your car(s) and/or motorcycle(s) in the parking lane between the curb and the sidewalk (not in the driveway). The birds, squirrels and chipmunks that frequent the property will amuse you. A lovely rural residential feel, in the Village of Morriston, Township of Puslinch, County of Wellington.

Acesso dos hóspedes
Our guests access their unit through the driveway gates into the courtyard & their entry door. Within the courtyard they can also access the hot tub (year round) and pool (weather permitting). There is a combination lock on the door which means that whenever you arrive you will have immediate access to your apartment. I normally greet you at your suite, introduce you to the amenities and answer any questions you may have. When that is not possible, I will provide you with the code to the door, in advance. So, no worries for very late check-in's. Please be aware that when you book, it is important to list all guests. The number of people in the booking are THE ONLY PEOPLE who will be allowed on the premises. Please do not think that you can invite others to join you for the day or night because we have a pool, hottub, 1000 sq ft deck and backyard. The cost of this booking includes the use of these amenities by you, only-registered guests.

Registered guests are allowed on the property, but absolutely no visitors. Please do not invite people onto the premises who are not registered. Contact tracing of all persons on the premises is strictly enforced in this "new" era. 34 Badenoch is a non-smoking house. If you smoke, then outside on the deck, or in the courtyard, making use of the ashtrays is fine. As of October 17, 2018 the recreational use of marijuana (Cannabis) became legal in Canada. The same rules for smoking cigarettes also apply to marijuana here. Pets will be considered on an individual basis. If you want to work out, there is a weight machine for your use. Being rural, there are lots of places to go walking and in the summer the pool is ideal if you are considering laps-it is 40 feet long! (132 lengths is a mile). Also to note-the cleaning products used in this home are environmentally friendly with no harsh chemicals.

Morriston is a great family oriented rural subdivision located 10 minutes south of Guelph Ontario, 20 minutes north of Hamilton Ontario and 45 minutes to Pearson international Airport in Toronto. There is a baseball diamond which the local amateur teams use, two parks, rolling fields (for cross country skiing), a local family restaurant known as "A Change of Pace", open daily until 3 pm and an excellent Chinese food restaurant known as "The Great Wall", open every day except Tuesday's.
Just north of Morriston is Aberfoyle (about 5 minutes north) which has a wine bar and fine dining restaurant "The Aberfoyle Mill". Between Morriston and Aberfoyle you will find 3 convenience stores and 3 fast food restaurants: A &W Restaurant, Pizza Pizza, and Subway Sandwiches. Pizza delivery from GUELPH is through Twice The Deal Pizza which delivers to The Airbnb.
If you prefer to take public transportation to Toronto, Hamilton or Kitchener Waterloo, the Go Bus Station is located in Aberfoyle. Ian can give someone great instructions on the use of public transit here-he is the expert!

My home has an historical element to it, since the original part of the house is a log cabin and was built in the early 1800's. I added the accommodation for guests in 1990 and that addition features cathedral ceilings and lots of light. I have a son who is currently playing soccer in Europe and also a new husband. I am a positive person and tend to look for the "silver lining" in any negative scenario. In my work I'm known as a problem solver. My motto is-if there's a will, there's a way! I live in the main part of the house with my husband, Ian. I am a real estate agent and have flexible hours. I also respect your privacy. However, having said that and recognizing that we are living in a “new normal “, the pool will be shared with my family only, no other guests, and you may see us in the back yard gardening or doing pool/yard maintenance.
