My unit is older, but clean and specious.
There was nobady living there after my last visitors.
I cleaned more than 9 hours the unit in October. I used bleach, and other cleaning products.
I had reached out to Hannah many times before her arrival, to find out the time she will check in, so I can arrange my time to drive there, as it is 1 hour drive frim Vancouver. She was not able to give me that information. I asked her if there is anything she will need. The internet was scheduled to connect, but I forgot to bring the modem from Vancouver, where I live. I met her sister and father, that came to pick up the key. I was not informed, that they will not come back soon, I left the window open ... They assured me, it is not a big problem. Before I left the unit, I dust, prepared the beds, towels, opened the window, to make sure, there is fresh air, as for 2 months it was not aired out.
There is mo mold in my unit, I do not know about where the smell was from... could have been from them? Hair on the walls??? Hmm. I did not painted the place before Hannah arrived.Needles on the floor? I mop the floors. I did not see anything of that sort.
Hannah emaild me a very rude message, about her fear to cook there, that it was not hygieninc for her in my kitchen, and she was afraid to cath some diseases! That was close to end of her stay. She asked me for full refund. Why she did not moved out the 1 st day? Her family lives in Squamish, they could stay with them. I lost 6.000.-$ in rental income for long term tenants from October to December,as I did not want to change her reservation over the holidays! The building manager saw the place before they moved in, she knows it was spotless and I cleaned there for 1 day!
This visitor was looking to get free place to stay, she was clearly looking for taking advantage of me.
