Welcome to the strange nexus of the universe where you can live tiny and large at the same time! We can't wait to host you.
Please read our profile and take note of the house rules, then let us know if you have any questions!
Our tiny home tries really hard to be as wonderful as the cedar tree it sits next to. It even dressed itself in fancy cedar siding and lathered itself with tung oil. And although its efforts may have failed (it's hard to top mother nature), a definite theme has been born. Runner-up names included Hail Cedar! and 20,000 Leagues Beneath the Cedar.
- Two cruiser bicycles
- Two beach chairs, beach towels, bag, and small cooler
- Two hammocks
- Outdoor patio with rocking chair and bench
- Outdoor shower
- Unique board games designed for two-person play
- Bluetooth speaker
- White noise maker
- Small book collection
The bicycles are especially great, because there are a few restaurants and a music venue within a leisurely five minute ride. More on that later. Now, onto the house:
It's tiny! But it doesn't feel that way. The light color of the bamboo flooring, the many windows and the high ceilings help to open it up. The loft holds a queen-sized mattress, which sits low to the floor on tatami mats. There is a full bath with a rain-down shower, air vent, and cloth curtain door. There is a fully functional kitchen, with gas stove and microwave. There is a desk/table and a futon couch that opens to sleep an (additional) adult or two young children (who are very welcome).
Amenities for daily living abound: wi-fi; soaps, towels & bed linens; cookware; electrical kettle; coffee maker and french press; a selection of teas and coffee; wine glasses and a wine opener, etc. If you are in need of anything, just ask!

The house sits on the front left corner of our property and is surrounded on three sides by a privacy fence. The front faces the driveway, which is where you'll pull up and park (left side). In effect, because of the tall fence, guests have an entire property to themselves. Next to the house there is a patio with rocking chairs, and a spot for a hammock (which is provided). There is also a lean-to shed, housing the bicycles and beach items. The house key is in a lock box mounted near the front door; we'll share the code before your arrival.
Interação com hóspedes
So, we're a daddy/daughter team. I'm Brian, dad to a sweet seven-year-old named Ava. We both love to chat and meet people, Ava just expresses that love by staring at the ground or hiding behind my leg. We're here to help in any way we can, but we also want to give you plenty of space and privacy. Feel free to call or text any time before or during your stay.
- Quiet time from 9pm-7am. This is really important to us and we ask that you respect it. It just means no loud noises after 9pm... keep it respectful and remember that there is a young child sleeping nearby.
- Sorry, no smoking (even outside).
- Sorry, no pets. Please don't ask. We love animals A LOT, and want 100 of them, but we cannot host them in the tiny house.
- Please remove your shoes when you enter the tiny house.
