The guesthouse is a spacious, but cozy studio apartment with beautiful views & a treehouse-like feel. It's nestled on 6.5 acres of aspen, fir, & spruce trees, with a small running stream nearby, as well as a creek running through another part of the property.

Lie back, unwind, & relax. Enjoy watching the birds fly & greet you on your private deck. In the summer months, enjoy dining "al fresco" at your charming mosaic table on the deck.

As for the space, guests have access to the 2nd floor guesthouse apartment with its own private deck, which is located above the 3 car garage on the left side of the driveway. Entrance to the guesthouse is located up the stone steps to the right of the garage, & up the stairs to the deck. Guest parking is available straight ahead at the end of the driveway, & next to the garage. At this time, there is no guest parking available in the garage.

While you are a guest here, you are welcome to walk around & enjoy the 6.5 acre property.

**ORGANIC, GLUTEN-FREE COOKING: Send me a note if you are interested in having me prepare you BREAKFAST or DINNER. --NO FOOD OR TRASH OUTSIDE: We have bears around here, so please don't leave any food or trash outside, including in your car.

--WINDOWS: Please close windows before departing at the end of your stay.

2) A MAXIMUM of 2 dogs are allowed per reservation.
3) If your well-behaved dog(s) are staying with you in the guest unit, please wipe their feet before entering, if they've been outside.
4) NO DOGS on FURNITURE, please!
5) Please do not leave dogs alone & unattended on the property or in the guest unit. You solely, are responsible for your dogs.
6) Please be advised that this property is in a wilderness area, & there are coyotes, bears, & mountain lions that share it with us. You may want to use extra caution, when letting your dog outside, especially at night.

--DON'T TAKE STUFF: Please do not remove any items from the guest unit, or any place else on the property.

--DAY GUESTS: You must be responsible for any other person that you invite to the property. **Additional people, other than the number of guests reserved & booked in the original reservation**, may NOT stay overnight at the property.

The guesthouse was a dream! Kitchen and bathroom were both gorgeous, and the deck was perfect for stargazing at night. Jeanne was incredibly helpful and comprehensive in letting us know about the tons of hikes in the Roaring Fork Valley. What a gorgeous area!

This is the second time I've stayed at this location. Like the last time it is peaceful, clean, relaxing and calm. Jeanne is an awesome host and an excellent chef. I will always recommend this beautiful place to family and friends staying in the Roaring Fork Valley.

This is the best Airbnb I've ever stayed in. The cabin is immaculately clean. The kitchen is well-equipped. The host was super helpful. Before booking, I was hesitant about the location. But, it turns out that the Reudi Reservoir is gorgeous! And, the hiking in the area is some of the best in Colorado. Best part: hardly any tourists! This place is a secret hideaway from the swarms of people around Vail and Aspen. There is no cell service but the internet worked well for email and surfing. It is okay if you need to do some work while you are there. We had no problem accessing the house in summer with a normal (non-SUV) car. But, I imagine that in winter, you'd need to use chains.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Ruedi Creek Gem. Jeanne was incredibly accommodating and has created the perfect environment for guests to unwind and relax. We loved waking up every morning to have breakfast on the patio as we watched wildlife on the deck - we saw several deer, birds, and butterflies. The beds were really cozy and we were blown away by how beautiful the shower/bathroom was. The kitchen was also well stocked and we made lots of delicious meals. We weren't far from the town and the drive was really gorgeous through the valley. I accidentally left a bag behind and Jeanne was kind enough to meet me in town and bring it to me. I'm definitely recommending this place to all of my friends!

The location is amazing. Jeanne is extremely friendly and there are lots of fun things to do in the area :) Kitchen has sharp knives and great pans for cooking! The house was clean and really made us feel at home. Highly recommend.
