Firstly, it should be noted that JUDE did not in fact stay. It was rather her partner in the photo Ross. Therefore, this is a violation of Airbnb 3rd Party Booking Rule, transgressing T&C 4.14 which requires Airbnb permission for such booking. In short I was deceived by this couple, and if Airbnb are to properly apply their policy this Review should be deleted as three others that I was obliged to request a few months ago. In these preceding cases It took a month to find the right person in Customer Services to apply the policy. -- In the meantime, so long as this Review is permitted, I am obliged to state that in 5-6 years of Hosting it's very rare that I regretted a booking. Thankfully, also Ross cut his 3 day stay to two, but was rude and aggressive on departure in pursuing a refund and threatened a BAD REVIEW if he did not get it. Such threats again contradicts Airbnb policy, but it is very difficult to prove based solely on verbal exchanges. While Ross's bullish insistence on the refund leads me to consider his comment on the price to be cynical. The details of this dispute and Ross's ignorance of Airbnb pricing system is rather noted in my Review of Ross on Jude's profile. [To read click on Jude's profile] -- As for ROSS's critiques in this brief review, my home was obviously not to his taste. Moreover, Ross is the first person to suggest the room is not Quiet, a perverse accolade given the 50 preceding reviews. Otherwise and most importantly, I'm pleased to inform that the toilet was fixed a week after Ross's departure when the plumber replaced the cistern. Yet I had informed Ross that I was waiting on my faithful plumber who was unable to visit earlier due to ill health. I would have at least expected Ross to have some empathy given he himself had come to London for the singular reason of having a medical for his job. He left abruptly because as he told me his medical was to be transferred to Aberdeen. I have no way to verify his word, only that I was very pleased to see him go. If more Guests were like Ross, I would have long given up being an Airbnb Host. In short, a most depressing experience, but thankfully very rare indeed.
