Calendula is the largest among the cave-houses of the complex "Cuevas de Pedro García" with room for 10 people. The whole set of houses can be rented together since they share patio, parking slot, and a couple of barbecues.
This kind of construction offers a constant and natural temperature of between 18C and 22C without using air conditioning nor heating.
The cave-house is equipped with all facilities of a traditional house, including two bedrooms with a 135cm (one has an auxiliary convertible sofa-bed), three bedrooms with two 90cm beds, two bathrooms and a complete kitchen. The center of the cave is a hall with a heart (fireplace). Both bath and hall have windows to the exterior, allowing plenty of sun light inside.
At about 5 minutes walk one finds the village center of Gorafe, with a megalith museum, bars and a couple of restaurants. Gorafe is known due to the high number of dolmens in its surroundings. Thermal swimming pools are located only 8km away. Granada city is about one hour by car.
