Eileen, I got your message as well as your private feedback. I realize the private feedback hadn't come through for me yet - which is why I asked for details - but I see you provided plenty. I appreciate the time you took to share your insights with me. I agree with your feedback on the lighting fixture and garbage disposal, so I will get those things taken care of as soon as possible. I didn't realize there were other light bulbs burned out, so I will take a look for those. As for the tenant, I think my listing reported the bathrooms as 2.5 bath when you signed up. I realized it wasn't accurate with the tenant, so changed that to 1.5 later but should have let you know in advance. Great feedback also about leaving more room in the closets and refrigerator. I have actually rented my place out 20-30 times and have never gotten that feedback, so it's helpful. I think the thing I'm trying to get my head around is that AirBnB isn't necessarily a true vacation experience in that the homes often aren't vacation homes. They are generally people's homes that we are sharing with guests to provide an experience that feels like you are home when you are away. To me, this means it's not going to be the same experience as a clean vacation home with empty closets and everything in the home geared towards a guest experience. Either way, it's great to know what guests are really looking for, so I will put your feedback on my "to do" list should I continue to open my home to guests - which is an open question at this time.
