We received four noise complaints on the morning of November 2nd at 3am, specifically regarding a disturbance coming from the unit you were staying in. As our House Rules state, we do not tolerate parties, shoes, smoking or unaccounted for guests. After 12 hours of investigating this issue and trying to reach you, we sent the property manager to investigate the case further which is when we decided to take a neutral position and give everyone the benefit of the doubt and allow for you to enjoy the rest of your stay in Chicago. As a gesture of goodwill, we refunded you over $200 and hope you are able to accept this. We’re so sorry your 21st birthday didn’t go as planned but please know that as Airbnb Superhosts with over 450- 5 star reviews, we tried our best and hardest to accommodate all guests and resolve this issue in a timely manner. We wish more than anything to provide a comfortable, safe and reliable stay for all of our guests and will continue doing so in the future.
