This lovely studio apartment is close to beautiful Mount Monadnock, the most climbed mountain in America. You’ll love this well-equipped, tastefully appointed, private apartment because of the historical setting in a quintessential New England small town (~5,000). This place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with up to 2 children). It is also suited for new hires or transferees while in search of a new home.
The 1898 carriage house, at one time actually housed a horse and carriage and hay was stored in the loft above. Now the first floor is a garage/workshop and the second floor is a recently renovated apartment.

You will have access to the entire carriage house, parking and surrounding yard. The apartment is up one flight of stairs, so it is not accessible to guests who have difficulty climbing stairs.

Barring any calamity, I am available for calls or texts (my cell number will be available when you book). I live in the main house and am usually home to help with anything you may need. I know the area well and can be your 'country concierge.'

I am supposed to be collecting 9% of the listed price of the accommodations from my guests and remitting it to the State of NH on a monthly basis. However, neither Airbnb nor the State has given us a viable method of collecting this tax without raising our prices - and essentially be double-taxed. So, I would ask that my guests present a check to me for 9% of the listing (which completely ruins the seamlessness of the Airbnb transaction) or I will just shoulder the tax for now. Thank you for your consideration.
