We are very sorry to hear about your experience, especially after a long flight with a baby. We apologize for the miscommunication during your check-in, due to an emergency situation with a prior group of guests, although we tried to make it up by offering you additional amenities. Our manager did send the towels over but you were not there as you promised. Also, you had booked two rooms, but used the third room without booking or paying for it. That room was not ready for guests, and we are surprised to hear your complaint after using it for free. Lastly, apartments in Taiwan, as in other parts of Asia, tend to be small comparing to the West, but this is the first time we get complaint about space though, having serviced guests for over 2 years. For an apartment of over 1,000 sq ft, that is considered large in Taipei. Also, most apartments in Taiwan tend to look dated from the outside, as there is generally no associations like HOA to regularly upgrade a building's outer appearance. This does not mean the buildings are not well built, or that the apartments are dilapidated. Quite the opposite is true in Taipei. As a host, we strive to maintain the highest standards on cleanliness, as validated by all of our other reviews. I hope this is simply a matter of miscommunication and misalignment in your expectation on how a comfortable and clean home in Taiwan should look like. We will certainly welcome you back again next time :).
