Hi Connie - thanks for your kind words about our Guest Apartment and your text about the welcoming hospitality you received. Yes, there is a long flight of steps to access the private Airbnb entrance (one of the reasons I like to meet guests and help with luggage, as I did with you) and why my listing says; "Our property is not appropriate for those with physical disabilities, as the private entrance is accessed down a long flight of garden stairs (see pictures). You’ll need to carry your luggage down from the street, although we’re here to help!"
I'm very sorry your expectations weren't met in regards to toiletries and other products. It appears this is your first stay with Airbnb as you have no reviews, so perhaps you were expecting more of a hotel or vacation rental experience, which build the costs of additional items into their rental prices. As I tried to explain via text, state in my listing, and is also printed in the welcome binder, I go above and beyond to provide food supplies and spices, office materials, toiletries, paper goods, etc., so that guests don't have to go shopping the night of their arrival. And I ask all guests to please replace what they use. That's how I'm able to keep the price significantly lower than an equivalent hotel suite. Hope that helps!
