I am truly sorry that your trip was negatively affected by your stay in my apartment and that my unit was not what you expected.
I do also regret that you misunderstood the multiple messages I sent about this and that the several gestures I did were not sufficient for you. Indeed, as our private messages prove it, I have always been understanding and nice and I answered all your questions as soon as I could.
You say in your message that you left my place without having been reimbursed whereas my cancelation terms made clear that I would refund you one night, what has been done, and AirBnb even refund you a second one.
In the description of my flat, it is written that my place is not a hotel apartment but that it is the place where I live, so consequently my personal belongings are in the flat. Regarding the fridge, I took off the ¾ of it so you could have some spare place, just like I always do for all my guests. I agree with you that ¼ was indeed taken by my food because I did not wanted to through it away. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Concerning the heat in the flat, you sadly arrived in town during an exceptional heat. As specified in my announce, I do not have the air conditioning (just like 80% of Parisian flats). I have a big fan that is sufficient enough for the bedroom, what I know because I do use it. The second bed in my flat is a double sofa bed, as mentioned again in the description, in the living room. My flat is consequently a 100% consistent with the announce.
As soon as you mentioned your stay was not meeting your expectations, I proposed to buy a second fan, with a price fitting my budget and I regret this solution was not a generous enough option for you.
About the windows, there is indeed 1 of my 3 windows that is a bit difficult to open so I preferred to block it for the people who are not used to it in order to avoid any problem with it. But I sent you a full message to explain to you how to open it properly, so you were able during your stay to open all the windows. You could also use the roller shade while opening the windows to prevent any troubles with the garden. My flat has an open view on a private garden that cannot be accessed by anyone so the place is very quiet for being at the hearth of Paris and I indeed indicated to my tenants to do not feed the pigeons or birds that sometimes happen to be in the garden to avoid any issues.
You mention the instructions I put in the flat. There are 4 of them in the whole flat. This has been done to ease your stay as much as to make sure the place I live in will just be in the same conditions as it was when I left. I already had troubles with tenants so I consider that sometimes, using things in a particular way can prevent from any damages, so that’s a win-win. Sorry if that made you feel uncomfortable.
I have well noted the issue in the toilet and this has been repaired since your departure.
Finally, I am sorry your stay in town was not what you expected but I tried to be the more precise and honest in my announce.
I hope you still enjoyed your trip to France.
