To understand the truth about Victoria’s stay and why her review is so negative – Please read the review I’ve left her. She was really rough lady that had just one review before her stay at our place, so it was my mistake to trust her.
My other reviews are the prove that her review is a total lie.
Here are the facts:
Victoria stayed with her 8 year-old son for about a month. Before booking she wrote me, took my personal phone number and called me many times asking a lot of questions. We made everything possible to check her in the time that is most comfortable for her. She booked from today for tomorrow. I organized my cleaning personal to check her in. Victoria was 30 minutes earlier and called me to inform me. I suggested to sit and drink a coffee in a café in front of the house. The cleaning lady was there 15 minutes before the (Website hidden by Airbnb) a total lie that she had to wait.
We didn’t communicate during their stay. On leaving she called me and said she felt the apartment like her own home. Said that she liked everything and will love to book it again. Victoria’s flight was in 3 o’clock in the morning and she checked out by herself with my permission.
We found out that she moved some of the furniture in the apartment, left dirty dishes (we have a dishwasher and I don’t know why she didn’t turned it on), dirty oven and fridge as well.
All the pillows from the sofa were moved in the bedroom and we couldn’t find one of them. I texted her asking where it might be. She didn’t text me back but called me from Canada being really arrogant and grumpy on the phone. She was upset and overdramatic like I told her “did you steal the pillow?”…..I told her that she was the one that lived in the apartment for the rest few weeks and I found it normal to ask. First she said that she has money and doesn’t need my pillow…than she explained that she had not enough pillow (they had two pillows on the bed) and she took one from the sofa and covered it with the pillow slip. First of all I didn’t understand why she was so rough and second – if she needed more pillows why she never asked for instead of using other things from the furniture against their purpose.
When she rudely asked if there is anything more to discussed, I said “No”. Than her mother called me from a bulgarian phone asking if I really think that her daughter took the pillow in her luggage to Canada..I’ve never said such a thing – the pillow was not on the place it should be (like other things) and I just asked where it was, because I was preparing the apartment for my next guest and needed this information. I didn’t understand this family overreaction.
I’m a host for more than 2 years and give 2 apartments in the neighbourhood. This was my worst experience and hopefully the last one!
I’m so happy making other people’s stay in Sofia nice and comfortable, so I will keep it that way!!!
