Semi Detached Vlla Rubi 3a Calle Marie de Ward sleeps 6+ near beache has great views to mountains and sea and is in a quiet residential zone of Nerja - probably one of the most desirable in this beautiful old Spanish town. Short term lets from autumn to spring time are welcomed - villa is ideal for professional working families or others seeking the escape from harsh winters. Also Nerja centre is virtually all pedestrianized with controlled access only to vehicles via bollards and/or police.

O espaço
Villa Rubi was built in 2017 and was immediately occupied by weekly and temporary short term guests. It has all the advantages and comforts of a modern purpose built villa with high building specifications including an air conditioning system which provides cold airto the lounge and bedrooms. The villa also has underfloor heating so you can see that the villa is comfortable all year round. The sun shines down on the villa in different places all of the day and this is an important consideration when reserving a property. We can supply cot and high chair and other items for small children with sufficient notice and these items together with the use of the safe are provided free of charge. There is a BBQ for alfresco dining. The swimming pool is one that you can actually try out your swimming skills - it is not a plunge pool as provided in many other properties and measures approximately 5 x 4 m. There are about 4 steps to the entrance door and apart from the stairs to the various floors we feel this could be attractive to those of our guests who find flights of stairs to properties difficult. There are three bedrooms on the ground floor togeher with the main entrance door and entrance to the swimming pool via patio doors in the back bedroom. Both bathrooms are fitted with walk in showers and one is en-suite to the main bedroom at the front of the building.. The middle floor contains a toilet alonge with a kitchen and lounge area where the TV provides channels from Uk and other countries. It also contains two fther teerraces fitted with otdoor tables and chairs. The upper level contains a small office area and on the terrace there is the solar system and it also contains a furthe area for your use. Our villa is an ideal location for a longer term winter let as it is very comfortable and many have described it as being a "home from home" with the excellent tropical sunshine that Nerja has to offer all the year round.

Acesso dos hóspedes
As our guests you will have total occupation - nothing is shared with any other properties. We also pay for a WIFI which has a strong signal and the Tv has many different channels including the English ones. Our normal entry and departure policy is that you can access the property from 4pm on the day of your arrival and when you leave we request that you leave by 10 am. However we do try our utmost to accommodate all guests with times that suit the travel plans. Obviously if we have guest departing and arriving on the same day depending on the time lapse we can arrange cleaners to arrive and depart at times to suit guests or make other arrangements such as leaving suitcases in a secure space until such times as is necessary. We meet and greet our guests on arrival is very special to us but if your arrival time is very late you can use the key safe outside the entrance of the property for access. We provide the secret code nearer the time of your arrival date.

From the point of enquiry onwards we are here to help all our guests. As soon as we agree the reservation we will send you local information and which includes things to do during your stay. We can liaise with you either through the website or through your personal email address or even the telephone if you wish. If possible we also like to meet and greet with our guests on arrival and provide you with our emergency contact numbers too so that you can contact us at any time during your stay. All our properties have a key safe at the entrance too so you will actually have access to two sets of key dring your stay. This means if you arrive or intend to arrive into the night then you will be able to use the code of the keylock safe to gain entry too. You are our guests - not our renters. We do own four other properties close by a two bedroom apartment sleeping 4 persons in Edificio Hawaii, our large villa Aljamar 8a sleeping up to 8 persons, our apartment Aljamar 4 sleeping up to 4 persons and our larger apartment Aljamar 5b sleeping up to 6 persons. All of these properties are advertised on this website and we can provide further details on request. This information is useful to those booking say guests for a wedding here in Nerja or those celebrating fiestas where large numbers of people are invited and we can provide you with the links on this website by request. We supply fresh linen and towels and beach/swimming pool towels and if you are staying for a longer period of time we will supply a further set on request. We aim to be flexible regarding arrival entry and departure. However if we have guests arriving on the same day as guests leave then we have to set the departure time to 10 am to allow for cleaning of the villa. . Also another major consideration is the safety of Nerja for tourists. Much of the centre is pedestrianised - protected with bollards which only authorised vehicles can use and the local and national police are in visible evidence most of the time too. Nerja and our properties ca act as a great base for touring Andalucia including Malaga, Granada, Frigliana, Sevilla and Cordoba and we have helped many previous guests with an itinerary and recommended ways to book hotels online.

The neighbourhood of Calle Marie de Waard is probably one of the best peaceful residential zones in Nerja close to the beach and centre of town. It is a very desirable location. You will not be disturbed by cars passing by and the views from the terraces show how close you will be from the sea and the mountains. There are two small supermarkets (one a SPAR and the other Corivan) very close to the villa and we will provide an information sheet relating to these. There is also Iranzo supermarket in close walking distance in one direction and two other large supermarkets of Mercadona (which is excellent for fresh fruits, fish and shellfish) and Supersol (which is excellent for meats with a fully butcher's and cheese counter) in the other direction.

My husband is Spanish and between us we rent out 5 elegant properties in great locations in Nerja. We are particular in making sure our guests are well cared for from time of booking to leaving and can offer to arrange transport to and from the airport for you. We like to think that our properties are equipped and kept like our own home - comfortable and well looked after. I am English are we met each other at Residencial Aljamar where we both own properties now which we rent for holidaymakers. Many of our guests regularly return for longer lettings especially in the winter months and we have hosts guests from far afield looking to escape their own harsh climates to live in harmony here in the wonderful "Carribian" climate that Nerja offers all the year round. In fact Nerja itself is one of the best kept secrets of Spain for relaxation and being unspoiled - it is still a typical working town. I am English so we can respond very easily to English and Spanish speaking guests. Our intention is for our properties to allow you to relax and enjoy the comforts of a "home from home" .

Durante a sua estadia
Once you have paid the deposit you will receive oir commnication details and if you wish local information sheets sent to yur personal email address.. Our previous guests have said they appreciate this although the sheets are provided in an information booklet together with other information sheets and the wifi access and code. As your hosts we are here to help you at all times and can arrange for our regular taxi team Miguel or his son Javier to collect you from and deliver you back to the airport at a much reduced price than if you were to hire a taxi from the airport itself. We can also put guests in touch with our family member employee Pablo for car hire and this is a great service as the car is delivered to the airport for your IMMEDIATE collection on arrival and you return it to the airport when you leave. Pablo includes full insurance in the quotation. We are here to help guests at all times and have a handyman who can swiftly provide a repair service. He also looks after the swimming pool.
