Two minutes from the centre of the beautiful medieval village of Yalding, with it's rivers, pubs, Indian restaurant and common.
I've spent the last three years building this oak framed guesthouse at the end of our long garden, looking out over the open countryside.
With it's king-size bed and wet room, it's a lovely place to escape for a while.
Yalding is the crossing point of the Medway Valley footpath and the Greensands way. Tunbridge Wells and numerous other delightful Wealden villages are a short drive away, and a choice of shingle or sandy beaches in about an hour. There are loads of National Trust places, highlights are Leeds Castle and Penshurst Place, both about half an hour away.
You’ve got you're own private veranda, looking out over the field. If the horses are in this part, they'll definitely come over to check you out. There's a skylight over the bed, so you can gaze at the stars, and maybe hear the owls hooting in the wood nearby.
It's an eco-build, built out of local oak and highly insulated with sheeps wool, so with the underfloor heating in the wet room and radiators you'll be toasty warm. And with the Egyptian cotton bedding it's a bit of luxury too. There's wifi and a kettle for tea and coffee, and a continental breakfast is included.
There are three pubs in the village, a great Indian restaurant, and a fish and chip van just down the road on Friday evenings. Also in the village is a post office selling fresh bread and croissants, a shop and a tearooms.

A partir do dia 31 de Dezembro de 2017 - 06 de Janeiro de 2018 a estadia mínima é de 4 noites.
I love the outdoors - walking, cycling, camping and canoeing, but most of all sitting around a campfire, chatting with friends.
I host three venues in Kent, a yurt on an Organic dairy farm, and a guesthouse and a wild campsite in Yalding.
