1.) The house was left completely trashed and filthy with food and drink stains on the floor, carpet , kitchen and bedrooms and it required deep cleaning. All furniture was moved around in different parts of the house. We even sent you pictures to confirm. There are pillow cases missing and we know that because we do inventory after each stay. Plus the bed sheets and covers have stains that did not come out even after washing a few times. I think asking $200 is pretty modest for all that, especially considering that we gave you a special $700 discount upon your request.
2.) About the legality of renting I would have and still would appreciate if you tell me who told you that so I can address that person immediately because its untrue. But, anyways you should not have had to deal with that so I do apologize solely for that.
3.) Jacuzzi requires chemicals to keep water clean and safe. We have a professional who comes and does water test and balance chemicals. No one before you has ever complained about chemicals in jacuzzi because that is pretty standard everywhere. This is also mentioned in the house manual.
4.) The cameras are at entrances and exits of the house to prevent robbery and promote safety. It is a standard safety precaution and not considered invasion of privacy because the cameras are not located in private areas, hidden, and once again clearly stated in the house rules and you should really consider reading house rules before booking since you are a hose yourself and would expect the same.
5) There is a touchscreen thermostat at your fingertip in the house which you had complete control of. What we ask is pretty typical of Florida weather, to keep windows and doors closed at all times because of humidity and bugs and insects. This is also clearly stated in the house manual.
5.) The only thing which is worn out is the outdoor bed due to constant exposure of sunlight. But we have a well kept sun lounge with a pool at the community lounge which you had access to as well. That is also mentioned in the house manual. We had a pictures on our profile the real time on the gps to go the beaches if you want to be on the beach you shouldn’t rent our house though.
All things you complained about in the review are clearly stated in house manual and instead you cared not to read or follow any of it. Since you are hosting one apartment in Mexico you expected to guest take care the house like you house , you don’t have to clean anything but to be only two ladies left the house like very dirty it’s not normal. Giving a bad review just because we started a legitimate claim due to damages you caused seems a bit unfair. Specially after you said how happy you was on your stay and you both want to come back and leaving one good review on your second reservation so is very clear is unfair and doesn’t make sense !
