Tŷ Capel Cranog was built in 1888 along with Capel Cranog and the vestry, which it sits between. We have spend a year renovating, revealing a lot of original features such as fireplaces and tiled floors. The house is a traditional Welsh house built of local slate. It sits halfway up the side of the valley and is in full sun most of the day. It is five minutes' walk from the beach, but is secluded and private.
There is currently still some renovation work going on, but the major work is completed and the site is now safe for guests! Guests have access to a shared bathroom, the breakfast room and the outside space. The double bedroom is full of light and has a king-sized bed.
Please note there is no tv or wifi at present.

Outras coisas a ter em conta
I have a Corgi named Cymro ('Welshman'), a rescue dog who is friendly and happy, but can be protective of me. He gets on well with most dogs and you are welcome to bring yours (although it cannot sleep on the bed please). I can provide a dog bed.
MOBILE SIGNAL is on and off. Major networks (02, Orange, EE, Virgin and 3 that I know of) have decent signal. Many other have little or none until you get to the main road. There is a public phone in the Pentre.
Breakfast is help yourself at whatever time you like and includes:
•Jam, marmalade, Marmite, butter
•Tea, herbal teas and coffee
I do not provide a full cooked breakfast, but there may be other options to those above depending on the season/mood! Feel free to bring your own food, although at this time I don’t have a fridge specifically for guests’ use (but you can put a few things in the one in the shed if you like).
- No pets on furniture
- Smoking outside only
I live in the house and will be around most of the time, although I work most evenings. I do speak Welsh, and although I'm not completely fluent yet I can cope with most conversations (and love to try!).
I am a surfer and writer from beautiful Llangrannog in West Wales. I love surfing, paddleboarding, swimming and anything to do with the sea and beaches; Corgis, seaglass (and making jewellery with it), learning Welsh, fitness, reading, writing and of course, travelling! I am a quiet person who loves to get out and explore a local area but also to come home, cwtch up and read my latest book.
