TheLocation: 15min walk to Hirafu & ski lifts + free shuttle (5min ride) stops by our door. Ideal for being close to the action & still ensuring a good sleep!
TheHouse: Japanese cottage with western comforts + SAUNA to warm those frozen toes! Full access to kitchen and lounge/living area with Netflix, PS4 and board games for those quiet evenings.
ThePeople: Hosted by two "foreign locals"! Ask us the where to go and what to do of the area & make our home your warm haven while visiting Japan!
TheSpace: This rustic Japanese wooden cottage warms you from the inside out with its floor to ceiling pine walls and lofted ceilings in the living room & lounge.
TheBedrooms: The whole house is 3 bedrooms spread over 2 floors; we homestay 2 bedrooms and live in the third (click on our profile to view the other bedroom). Bed arrangements can be 2 singles or 1 queen. If you have an extra person, we have a couple of Japanese futons!
TheKitchen: We provide full access to the kitchen, for those quiet mornings at home. The kitchen is very traditional of Japan (with no oven) - so no roast dinners unfortunately! However, we have a little recipe book if you care to try some of our tasty (and cheap) Nippon meals!
TheLivingRoom: Sink into the comfy couches in the lounge/living room, relaxing those tired snow legs! If you want to stay in, we have Netflix, PS4, and a couple of board games. Feeling a bit more energetic, bustling Hirafu is an easy walk (15min) from the door, with some great restaurants only 5min away!
TheNecessities: Toilet, lavatory, and shower room are all separate and located on the main floor.
TheCar: We do have one parking space, however, we will require notice on booking to confirm availability.
