Fantastic views, easy walk to town, spacious, tastefully furnished..... gay-friendly.
Our spacious two bedroom, downstairs apartment has just had a paint job, new carpet and curtains so is looking sharp. Full kitchen with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave.....and laundry. The property has a heat-pump and underfloor heating - super warm when it needs it needs to be.
The open-plan kitchen living space has fantastic views of the lake, The Remarkables (mountain range) and across to Kelvin Heights.
Secure storage is available for bikes/sports gear/ski gear on request.
Unlimited high-speed wifi and Netflix.
Acesso de hóspedes
The apartment is 100% private and entirely available to our guests.
Interação com hóspedes
We live upstairs so guests can have interaction if they desire or they can be 100% private - a gin or glass of wine is never far away.....
We both work full-time so are not around a great deal of the time unfortunately...
Outras coisas a ter em conta
The property is easily recognisable with it's blue roof and solar panels. Look for the sign ' Wakatipu Heights 21A' with an arrow pointing the way. Access to the apartment from the street is to the right of the building, down a drive 15m to the end of a concrete wall. Around the end of the wall and you will see my garage door; the steps down to the apartment are just to the right of the garage. There is a key safe at the door.
Cleaners will come through after guests depart but we would be grateful if the kitchen was left tidy - pots and pans clean, dishes washed or at least the dishwasher stacked.
We expect the odd breakage - glasses etc but the costs associated with 'damages' will be recovered.
Unless arranged otherwsie, the 10AM check-out needs to be adhered to. This is due a high probability that more guests will arrive in the afternoon and the logistics of cleaning the apartment in time for those guests. However, luggage may be able to be left, by arrangement.
I am a NZ born (Gore, Southland) - Queenstown resident of 22 years and work at the local hospital. My partner, Grant, is an Australian-born (burnt-out) chef now working in food retail so we like to eat. And drink... need I say more?
I try to stay fit but that is losing it's appeal as it becomes more difficult with the passing years. I sing in two local choirs which is quite a buzz when it goes well. Embarrasing when it doesn't....
We travel when we can - recently experienced 'Business Class' for the first time. Now that ruins you for travelling economy ever again!
