Bianca's accusation that my decision to cancel her reservation based on the appearance of her family is ludicrous and offensive. I Always make an attempt to meet ALL of my guests with the key, as I want to greet guests, show them around, make them aware of location of fire extinguisher, and answer any questions they might have. My Condo is quite small and will accommodate only 4 guests safely and comfortably, but after ascertaining that Bianca had not been honest about the number of guests in her party ( I agreed to allow 2 extra guests for a total of 6 people, NOT 7 !!! ) I called Air bnb and decided to cancel the reservation. Bianca initially tried to convince me that she had informed me about the 7th guests prior to setting out on her journey, that was a fabrication & when I reminded her that all communication was available online at Air bnb, she changed her story to "Well, we didn't know until just before leaving Texas that she would be coming with us." She became angry and didn't see how this situation was her fault and not mine. I have never cancelled a reservation, but I have also never been lied to by a guest. I refunded the entire amount of her money, which I was NOT required to do, yet Bianca refers to me as a horrible person. I lost a booking, but she failed to see how her lie impacted me. Air bnb assisted her in finding other accommodations and even gave them a credit to help with cost & I gave full refund, but Bianca is still angry, hmmmmm ? Maybe don't lie next time Bianca !
