Thank you for the feedback Jeenah. I am glad you enjoyed your stay despite some misgivings on your part about the Club. While I do respect your opinions, I feel I need to explain why Anvaya Nature and Beach Club have such rules you found disagreeable.
First of all, Anvaya Cove is not a public resort where anyone can just go. It is a premiere membership Club that values its "exclusivity" and aims to maintain high quality standards not all in its facilities but its general ambiance as well. In fact, you cannot enter the Club if you don't have a member endorsing your visit. It is for this reason that people at the Club are expected to abide by rules, members and non-members. The life vest thing for your daughter is for her own safety because even if the parent is with a child, they want ZERO-CASUALTIES due to accident or negligence. Perhaps if you think about it, you would also see it from their point of view. Regarding the noise, it isn't because they don't want you to have fun but rather so that other guests enjoying the facilities also aren't bothered. Lastly, regarding bringing of food into the Club, this is definitely nothing unique because most resorts (except the cheap public ones for general patronage) discourage bringing of food and charge corkage.
Again, I am happy you enjoyed your stay despite your negative feelings about the Club and that you did say that the facilities are nice and of a wide variety. I went out of my way to welcome you and gave you free club passes for your group (something that I don't usually do). So despite the low rating you gave my accommodation due to Club policies I have no control over, I am still glad you chose to stay with us.
