Do you love the homes featured in shows like This Old House, Fixer Upper, and Rehab Addict? Then you’ll appreciate the care and effort which have gone into the restoration of this beautiful home. Original wood moldings, oak columns, hard wood floors, a one-of-a-kind curved brick fireplace, and remodeled period kitchen and bathrooms, are just some of the interesting highlights of this home.
With three bedrooms upstairs (a King and a Queen guest room, as well as a Twin XL double bunk room for four additional guests) and a sleeper sofa downstairs, you’ll have plenty of room to spread out and rest between activities. Please book additional rooms separately.
A comfortable space to stay for 1-12 guests. (There are two additional Twin XL Mattresses in the bunk room, which can be pulled out at night and slid back under the bunk beds during the day.) Both the King and Queen beds have 3” memory foam toppers. The Queen bed has a heated mattress pad.
Just a stone’s throw away, the back yard of the property borders Lamoni’s North Park where the town’s baseball, softball and soccer fields are located, as well as the public outdoor city pool.
Located .5 miles from Graceland University and .25 miles from the Lamoni Scenic Bike Trail & Bird Sanctuary, 1 block from the Lamoni Community Schools, and 1.75 miles from historic Joseph Smith III’s home, Liberty Hall.
You’ll have full access to the kitchen, living room, WiFi, Netflix, and washer and dryer during your stay.
The positive and creative energy will inspire you, as you never know what art works or projects the artist homeowner will be working on during your visit.
In addition, I am gradually removing wallpaper from the ground floor. The house is also home to Tigress and Zora two friendly and entertaining cats with a graceful custom 9-foot cat tree!
