The guest rented two rooms from our home that have outside entrance only. It is very private and each room offered its own deck. The rooms were not rented to have access to the entire house. The rooms are popular since they are private. We had sent an email several days ahead of time through AirBnB to the guest with procedures on how to enter the rooms. She never responded to the email, but panicked when she arrived and didn't know how to get in. Our son was there in 20 minutes to let her in. This guest is a new user of Airbnb so perhaps she wasn't comfortable with communicating through it. Finally, the guests had smoked in one of the rooms. It actually smelled like "weed". When asked, she said they don't smoke, but there was evidence of it in the room. The rooms had to be fumigated and "aired" out for upcoming guests. This was a "first" for us. Never experienced this with any other guest.
