Hi Hannah - thanks for taking the time to write a Review. Your message about the Wifi was left Friday night which I replied to Saturday afternoon. On investigation of the Wifi we found that due to the recent Thunder & Lightening, the router had been damaged. We have overhead cables here given the rural location. Wifi was present but very weak because of the damage and the router is being replaced this Wednesday as advised.
With the hot water the power switch which is located on the outside of the bathroom had been switched off - I asked if you could check that and you advised it was on, but when I visited today it was off. The hot water in the bathroom sink and the shower runs fine and very powerful - your showers must have been very weak too because of this being off.
Vodafone is the only network that doesn't work at the farm - I am from Newbury in Berkshire and used to live near to Vodafone HQ and it didn't work there either! All other networks seem to be OK - sometimes a bit hit & miss ofcourse but O2 is fine everywhere as that's who I am with now. With any rural location, particularly surrounded by 4ft thick granite walls, bad or no signal is common place unfortunately.
Housekeeping were very complimentary at how tidy & clean you left Orchard Cottage, so thank you from us for that.
