Sadly, overall Lili did not seem enjoy her stay. I was on vacation Magdelaine Islands from before they arrived until their 1st day in, with limited internet connection, but never out of contact for more than a day. Once back I found Lili and her group noisy and unresponsive to my communications both in person and by messages. Also, I was dispointed to find my custom neon Tequila sign broken on inspection of the apt. Montreal summers can be hot and humid. That is part of the MTL summer experience, as I see it. All the same, the house is a circa late-1800 contrution with over 10’6” ceilings in the bedrooms (which disappates heat), windows on 3 sides plus a roof hatch to let out heat. There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms. My gf and I have lived there 3 summers and were very comfortable.
The cleaning fee is not charged on booking, as listed twice in my listing, as approx 4/5 of my guests opt to save on the fees and clean after themselves. The service is available and noted both on my listing and on the info sheet found in the apt on check-in. I’m sry if Lili did not read my listing fully and only read the info sheet on her last day. As for breakfast: the Airbnb listing format doesn’t differentiate between a meal served and breakfast food available in the apt. My place has coffee, unsalted roasted nuts, oatmeal and some other cereals, plus all the extras one would need for cooking a full meal: oils, sugar, spices, pots, etc.. With respect to the front door lock: the door opens by itself after the code is punched in, unless you forcre it as it is unbolting. That, impedes the mechanism.
