Well first the one with the check in issues and complaining about it should be me, not this person. She first told she was coming at 6pm, then she contacted me at 5:40pm to let me know that she was now coming at 10pm (if you are going to be 4 hours late, this is something you know way in advance not 20min before the time you were supposed to be at the place) so I told her not a big deal, I sent her the instructions and everything fine, she contacted me again around 7:45pm to tell me that she was on her way and could be at my place by 8:45 to 9pm (now I already made arrangements for her to check in at 10) so I’m getting a little annoyed and I ask her if she’s sure this time because this is the 3rd time she’s changing her mind about the check in time (expecting me to be under her disposition apparently) she’s like yes I’ll be there on time, so at 9:10pm she still didn’t make it so I contacted her and asked her where she was, she was still 20min away in the train plus another 10min walk, I told her I couldn’t wait for her anymore and I gave her the instructions to follow, I had to re arrange everything for the 4th time due to her lack of seriousness, she finally showed up at 10:05pm according to what I was told. Now imagine a host doing this to a guest, how upset with a guest be for receiving this treatment, I think anyone would get upset with a person checking her mind 4 times about something as simple as a check in time, punctuality is a virtue and I take it seriously, I never leave anyone waiting for me and I find it as an act of disrespect for those who leave me waiting or change their minds 4 times!!
I told her I could help her with her luggage if she needed it to leave it at my place and she said she made other arrangements, so not sure what she’s talking about the luggage issue, probably she just didn’t know what to say in the review since I did nothing wrong with her reservation.
I did tell her I was losing my patience with her because she was pretty much harassing me with message after message after message asking for something we never agreed, and no matter how I explained to her how it worked even before the problem, she kept bothering non stop, it was so annoying.
Everything is explained in detail in my listing, things I provide, things I don’t provide, rules, how I expect guests to behave, etc so only the ones who agree with absolutely everything book the place, this person books the place, gets in the place and complains about it later making no sense expecting others to pay for her mistakes, it was such a disappointment frustrated experience with this person, I just wish I never had to host her, some people are just not right for the Airbnb community, this is one of those persons, terrible experience.
