A charming period cottage complete with inglenook fireplace and wood
burning stove. Seb’s Seahouse has been lovingly restored retaining
original fireplaces in the bedrooms, exposed stone walls and beams.
Accommodation is over two floors with a separate well equipped kitchen,
dining room with large table seating 6-8 guests and stove. The living
room is lovely, warm and welcoming, another woodburner, leather sofa
and arm chairs. Outside, there’s an enclosed garden with table, chairs
and a barbeque - this is a lovely area, perfect for children and dogs
to play in.
Seb’s Seahouse is in the North Sunderland area, just a 15 minute walk
from the bustling harbourside, shops, cafes and pubs in Seahouses, and
of course the beach. The cottage is a great base for exploring this
beautiful area - visit the Farne Islands to observe the seabirds and
the colony of Grey Seals. 3 miles north is the impressive Bamburgh
Castle which clings to a rocky outcrop, and it’s just 5 miles to Holy
Island and Lindisfarne (accessible at low tide along the causeway).
