Prior to arriving to this place our family experienced a theft, which ended up delaying our checkin time, because of filing the police report, etc. Brunella and Enzo were so understanding and helpful. Even though it was late by the time we were able to arrive at the home, Brunella made our family of eight a delicious pasta dinner, which everyone loved. We were so grateful for such a warm welcome. The home was so charming. We loved the way we could open the windows on either side of the flat to get a refreshing cross breeze. The view off the upstairs back balcony was especially beautiful and memorable. The neighborhood was great. You get the experience of being in the middle of a real Italian community. It was neat to look out our window seeing older men at the local cafe playing cards and women sitting in circles chatting until well after dark. There is an ice-cream shop and cafe right outside the door and a produce market right across the street. It's not like Rome where you can find lots of English speakers, but everyone was very friendly and kind, and the one time we did need an English speaker the community happily worked together to find one. It was a great place to stay for our large family of eight.
