Located at the top of Shumont Estates this 2 bedroom 2 bath home has everything you need for a quick getaway or extended stay. Level entry and paved parking make access into this home a breeze. Once you enter the hone you are greeted by a wall full of windows bringing the outside in. An open living room with hardwood floors, dining area for 6 with seating for an additional 2 at the kitchen bar, sliding glass doors provides easy access to the large decks and gas grill. A modern kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, built in microwave has all the conveniences of home.

A main floor master bedroom has a queen bed with smart TV and private access to the deck. A main level bath with dual vanities, shower and tub. Downstairs is game room with sleeper sofa, game table and a set of twin bunk beds with access to a large second deck. Finishing out the lower level is the second guest bedroom with a queen bed and smart TV also a stack-able washer and dryer and bathroom with walk in shower.

Just a few steps away in the back yard is a cozy fire pit to sit out and roast marshmallows or watch for fireflies. If you are traveling with a large group, The Lodge at Shumont Estates is just across the road with room for 10.

ALL GUESTS HAVE ACCESS TO THE RUMBLING BALD RESORT! Passes to the resort are included with this rental for the number of occupants listed on your reservation. Passes can not be guarantee if reservation is made less than 3 business days prior to arrival. The resort features all the convenience, entertainment and amenities you need! Most of the features are located within 1.5 miles away from the home and can be accessed with the guest passes you will receive at check in.

VACATION RENTAL STANDARDS

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY LIMITS: The maximum overnight occupancy limit for this home is 6 persons (including children over the age of 2). You must provide us with the number of people and vehicles in your group. Violation of occupancy rules are grounds for immediate eviction with no refund, and fees will be charged to your credit card to cover any damages.

DESIGNATED PARKING: Vehicles must be parked only in designated areas on the vacation rental property. Parking in the roadway blocking the flow of traffic and parking on neighbor's property without permission are prohibited. Contact your rental's property manager for offsite, overflow parking options. There is parking for 2 vehicles at this property

TRASH DISPOSAL: All household waste & trash must be placed in receptacles considered to be animal proof (e.g., durable with secured lids).

MINIMUM AGE: You must be at least 25 years of age to reserve a rental property and sign this lease and must also be a guest at the property during the entire term of the stay. You must present a valid government ID at time of check in.

NO HOUSE PARTIES: We do not accept reservations from sororities, fraternities, spring-break parties, bachelor / bachelorette / wedding parties, or any similar groups unless approved at time of reservation. Mr. Lake Lure Vacation Rentals works closely with local law enforcement to patrol our rental homes.

FIRE PROTECTION FOR YOUR SAFETY: Fire Extinguisher and Evacuation Plan -This home is equipped with working fire extinguishers and a posted evacuation plan. Removing any of these from their designated location is prohibited. Avoid storing items not to block hallways, doorways, steps, entrances and exits. Small Outdoor Fires - When an area burning ban is in effect, bonfires are prohibited. Contact your rental home's property manager for information on any burning bans. Outdoor fires are only permitted in a place and manner approved by the Fire Chief.

LAKE ACTIVITIES: Swimming: Do not swim farther than 50 feet from shore unless accompanied by an observer in a boat. Fishing: A North Carolina fishing license is required, and all state fishing regulations apply. Boating: If a boat is provided with this rental home, please ask for and review the pamphlet entitled “Lake Regulations & Map”. If you wish to utilize your own boat on the lake, a permit is required and can be obtained at Town Hall or at the town marina.

PERSONAL CONDUCT: Trespassing - Venturing onto a neighboring dock or pier, boat house or property without the owner's permission is prohibited.

NO SMOKING: Smoking is prohibited in all our vacation rental homes. You will be accessed an additional cleaning fee if it is discovered you have been smoking in the home of $500. We ask that all smokers stay a minimum of 10 ft from any open window or door while smoking on property.

NOISE: Unreasonably loud noise is prohibited throughout the Town. Please observe quiet hours after 10 p.m. and be aware that sound carries very far over a still lake.

UNRULY BEHAVIOR: Behavior deemed disorderly and causing a disturbance to the public is prohibited. These regulations will be strictly enforced.

Check in time is 3 pm to 7 pm at our Office Address:109 Arcade Street, Lake Lure 28746. We are located downtown Lake Lure across from the Lake Lure Beach and Water park in the 1927 Arcade Commerce Building. (next door to Carolina Trust Bank) this is the only time our office is staffed for check ins. IF YOU PLAN ON ARRIVING AFTER 7 pm you will need to submit a photo of your driver's license, make, model and tag of vehicles. DO NOT GO DIRECTLY TO PROPERTY!! If you go to a property prior to approval from our office, before check-in time you will be accessed an early check-in fee $25.
