The apartment, on the top floor of our lovely traditional Portuguese townhouse is situated in a quiet, car-free street in the middle of colourful, historical and vibrant Lagos. Just a few minutes walk from local restaurants, beaches and bars, you can enjoy the sun and the Portugese way of life with all the amenities of the city on the corner. The house lies within the old city walls close to the fort, museum, slave market and the landmark of Lagos: Praça do Infante Dom Henrique.
The house was completely renovated in 2009. The apartment has its own entrance (we live downstairs), two bedrooms, a spacious kitchen with double doors to an always sunny balcony, living room and bathroom. A recent addition is a fabulous rooftop terrace overlooking the historical church and museum and a view of Meia Praia beach in the background. Perfect for breakfast or sundowners!
The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern amenities (electric cooker, microwave, oven and large fridge, washing machine) with every cooking utensil available to cook great fresh fish from the nearby market!
The living area is on the street side with TV.
There are two spacious bedrooms. The first with a double bed and the second with two single beds, which is situated under the roof on the second level of the apartment, and with access to the roof terrace.
There is wireless internet throughout the apartment and there is a safe available for use.
The house is within walking distance from the bus and train stations of Lagos, the boulevard and the marina of Lagos. There is no parking at the house but close by -within a 5 min walk - you can find both free and paid parking.
Lagos’ beaches are perfect for (kite)surfing and there’s plenty to do in the town both day and night but also the surroundings are worth discovering! We're only 30kms away from the most south western point of Europe and to the beautiful, rugged, west coast. Ten minutes away from the coast you'll find that there's a whole different Algarve to discover.
Please note that an additional charge (for the 3rd and 4th guest) applies when staying with more than 2 people except young children.
Welcome, Bem vindo!
